Bonnie Parker (October 1, 1910 – May 23, 1934) and Clyde Barrow (March 24, 1909 – May 23, 1934) were well known outlaws.
It was during the great depression that Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker meet, when Clyde tried to steal Bonnie’s mother’s car. They soon turned from pulling small-time heists to robbing banks.
Needless to say, it all ended badly for them, but that’s another story!

I’ve always thought Bonnie and Clyde costumes were the best. Great for couples costumes because they were such a great team together! I think it’s their history together that has so glamorized them. Regardless, I just love these costumes…

I would imagine this costume will be even more popular since the Johnny Depp movie was released (public enemies). Not strictly about Bonnie and Clyde but the same era and gangster theme. I saw Bugsy Malone the other day – the one with all the kids in it – what a hoot. I saw it when I was a kid and just loved it. Strangely enough you can still get something out of it as an adult.
